What I’ve Been Up To

I went to see No Man’s Land starring Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan.  We were up in the cheap ‘limited view’ seats but actually we could see and hear everything perfectly and had a brilliant evening.

I also saw  The Growlers in Brixton.  They were enjoyable enough but I don’t love them.

I’ve been doing a fair bit of sewing including a weekend bag, tote bag upcycled from an old poster, card holder, rainbow top, black and white jersey dress and a craftivist mini protest banner. I’m hoping to get another dress finished before the end of the year, and a few embroidery projects too – wish me luck.craftivist banner

I had a Guide Holiday weekend.  It’s too cold to camp at this time of year (I know some people love winter camping but I’m not that tough) so we stayed in a holiday house at our division’s camp site.  It was pretty muddy and I was so tired when I got home.  Lots of fun though! It reminded me just how rewarding volunteer work can be.

This weekend is not particularly glamorous.  We’re having some building work done which hopefully will finish on time!
