Arriving at Ashlins
We recommend you travel by public transport or park at the Selborne Walk Shopping centre car park (Car park postcode is E17 7LT) . Street parking is very difficult to find. Don’t arrange to be dropped off or picked up on Hoe Street as there are double yellow lines on both sides of the road. We suggest you are dropped off around the corner on St Mary Road.
Entering the Clinic
When you arrive at the clinic there is a buzzer to the left-hand side of the door. Press the buzzer or knock on the door to gain entry.
There is a small step up to our front door. We don’t currently have a ramp.
Inside the Clinic
The ground floor of our clinic is flat with no steps. We have 2 ground floor treatment rooms. I am almost always in room 7, one of the ground floor treatment rooms. If you need step-free access please let us know when you make your appointment.
We also have a ground floor toilet which is accessed by a fairly narrow corridor.
We have 5 more treatment rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor. These rooms are accessed by stairs which have handrails on both sides. We do not have a lift.
There is a second toilet on our first floor.
During your treatment
Most of our treatment rooms (including my usual room) have an adjustable height hydraulic couch. Osteopathic treatment can be performed seated or otherwise adapted to suit your needs. It’s important that you are comfortable and relaxed for your treatment so I’ll work with you to find a suitable set up.
You are welcome to bring a chaperone or assistant to your appointment. I recommend you wear loose or stretchy clothes such as a vest & leggings or shorts. Also wear shoes that are easy to remove. This will make it much easier for me to assess you.
Please phone 020 8520 5268 or email info@ashlins.co.uk with any questions or accessibility requests and we will do our best to assist.
