Laptops are great – light, portable & space saving.  Unfortunately they are not so good for your posture.

Here’s the problem, and how to fix it.

Laptop Posture Problems

When you work on a laptop, you are forced to tilt your head down to look at the screen.    This strains the back of your neck.  It also encourages you to slouch forwards, straining your back too!

If you keep doing this day after day you may end up with head aches, a sore neck and stiff, sore shoulders.

Luckily, this is pretty easy to prevent.

Simply rest your laptop on a stand to bring the screen up to your eye level.  Plug in a USB keyboard and mouse, and you’re good to go.

You should also take regular breaks from sitting, and stretch after work.
